Mission Statement

Michigan Kali Bari, a Hindu Temple, will be developed by the Hindu community, residing in the State of Michigan and nearby. The Temple will be established and maintained a common place of worship and provide community help. This will lead to well-being, prosperity and overall development of the community and providing better understanding between the Hindu community and others. The Temple will be organized exclusively for charitable, religious, educational purposes that qualify as exempt organizations under section 501(c) (3) of the Internal Revenue Code, or corresponding section of any future federal tax code.

Upcoming Event

We are celebrating Durga Puja on October 4th and 5th with full of many special events. We are requesting your presence along with your family and friends to celebrate first Durga Puja organized by Michigan Kali bari. You are welcome to prepare foods or use your special skills to do something creative or sponsor any events. We are always in need of volunteers to help with kali bari puja activities and would welcome you to peticipate.Please fill out our volunteer record form and we will contact you.

Please come to this auspicious occasion to encourage our effort to build a new kali mandir at greater detroit area.
